Over 200 Apex Legends QA Testers Were Laid Off

You heard it, over 200 quality assurance testers at the EA Baton Rouge offices were laid off today. This was done over a zoom call and sadly this news came as a shock to the supervisors and rest of the staff. No advanced warning.

This group of people mostly worked on Apex Legends and this is also coming just weeks after the announcement of Apex Legends mobile being cancelled.

This has also been confirmed by a few tweets by current and previous testers.

EA did not have much to say, but they did mention that they would be spreading the testing out to other locations.
